The
AAS will commence its first training program of its Senior Students in
the use of computer application packages effective 4th December 2012.
This project is geared towards empowering its Senior Students for the
task ahead in the Job market. The first phase of the training program
will be in the area of microsoft excel and Quick books. The AAS is
however constrained as it lacks Computers for the purpose. The first set
of students to be trained are those with Laptops and is a Training of
Trainers(TOT) program for subsequent training of the rest of senior
students. The Association wishes to commence training program for the
rest of graduating seniors by the start of the next semester. We are
therefore appealing to allumni of the department, Cuttingtonians and
well wishers to support this laudible project. Supporting the AAS with
one Computer is like creating jobs for ten graduates from our program.
